When a film studio invites influencers to a screening, the arrival is part of the campaign. On Monday, April 27, 2026, Allied Global Marketing contracted Booth Empire on behalf of Warner Bros. Canada to produce a movie premiere Glambot experience in Toronto for the Mortal Kombat II influencer screening at Cineplex Cinemas Queensway & VIP - three hours of cinematic slow-motion capture that produced approximately 134 finished videos.

The Assignment

The screening needed a polished content experience integrated into the arrival flow: invited influencers would create their content before watching the film, so the activation had to feel like part of the evening rather than a station bolted onto it. Because the engagement ran through Allied Global Marketing on behalf of Warner Bros. Canada, the execution also had to meet agency and studio standards - a vendor operating cleanly inside someone else’s campaign.

How the Glambot Capture Worked

Booth Empire deployed the Glambot - a robotic camera system built for cinematic slow-motion video - at the theatre ahead of showtime. Guests stepped in front of the camera on arrival and created dramatic slow-motion content suited to an action-franchise audience, then continued into the screening.

The sequencing mattered. By placing capture before the film, every guest arrived at the activation with fresh energy, and the content was created while the evening’s anticipation was at its peak. The Glambot’s cinematic look also matched the context: content created at a film event, shot like film.

Built Around a Screening Schedule

A screening imposes a hard clock. The Glambot ran for three hours of active operation, aligned with the arrival window - every invited influencer who wanted content had to be captured before seats were taken, with no possibility of extending the window once the film began.

Approximately 134 videos in three hours reflects a steady arrival-window pace, sustained without letting a queue back up into the lobby experience. With the active portion complete, Booth Empire’s team was also able to attend the screening around the activation - a small detail that reflects how cleanly the operation fit the evening’s schedule.

Screening Results

  • Approximately 134 Glambot videos produced
  • Three hours of active Glambot operation
  • Audience of invited influencers at a Warner Bros. Canada promotional screening
  • Delivered under contract to Allied Global Marketing

For an invitation-only audience, roughly 134 finished videos represents deep participation - and because the participants were influencers, each video was created by someone whose entire presence at the event was about producing and sharing content.

Why the Screening Worked

The vendor chain held. Agencies hire production partners they will not have to manage minute-to-minute; Booth Empire delivered for Allied Global Marketing in a way that reflected well on the agency and, above it, the studio.

Arrival-window capture matched influencer behaviour. Content created before the film is content posted during and after it, while the event is still live.

The format suited the property. Cinematic slow motion is a natural visual language for an action franchise - the outputs looked like they belonged to the campaign.

The schedule was respected absolutely. Three hours, fully used, cleanly ended. Entertainment-industry events reward vendors who treat showtime as immovable.
