Framed Photo Experience for the Jays Care Golf Tournament

For the Jays Care Foundation golf tournament at RattleSnake Point Golf Club, Booth Empire built a branded photo station featuring the American League Champions trophy. Across three operating windows and 308 attendees, more than 300 framed photographs were produced and handed out on-site.

A charity golf tournament earns its keepsakes. On July 6, 2026, at RattleSnake Point Golf Club in Milton, Ontario, the Jays Care Foundation and the Toronto Blue Jays gave 308 attendees one worth keeping: Booth Empire operated a golf tournament photo booth in Ontario built around the American League Champions trophy, sending guests home with a framed print of themselves beside it.

What Was Asked

The objective was specific: give golfers and guests the opportunity to be photographed with the American League Champions trophy and receive a polished framed print. The output had to feel appropriate to a charitable event of this profile - a finished, physical piece rather than a digital file or a loose print - and the service had to fit around the rhythm of a tournament day, where guests arrive, play and gather on a schedule the activation does not control.

Building the Photo Station

Booth Empire produced a branded photo station anchored by the trophy itself. Guests were photographed against a branded backdrop with the American League Champions trophy - the kind of photo opportunity that does not come around often, presented with the polish it deserves.

The finishing was the differentiator. Each photograph was placed into a custom photo frame, with 350 frames produced for the event. Rather than leaving with a promise of a download link, guests left carrying a framed photograph of themselves with a championship trophy - a tangible marker of the day and the cause behind it.

Built Around a Tournament Day

Golf tournaments impose their own logistics. Setup was required early in the morning, before any guests arrived, so the station was photo-ready from the first arrival onward.

Rather than a single continuous service, the station operated across three separate operating windows aligned with the natural gathering points of the day. That structure let the activation meet guests when they were available instead of competing with tee times, and it required the team to bring the station to full readiness three separate times.

Physical print production ran on-site throughout: photographing, printing and framing in sequence, at event pace, so guests received a finished piece rather than a pickup instruction.

What Was Delivered

  • 308 attendees at the tournament
  • 350 custom frames produced for the event
  • More than 300 framed photographs handed out on-site
  • Three separate operating windows across the event day

The exact final number of frames distributed is not known, but with more than 300 framed prints handed out to a field of 308 attendees, the station reached the overwhelming majority of the event - a strong take-up rate for any single-day activation, and especially for one delivering a finished physical product.

Why This Format Worked

The trophy carried the concept. A photo with the American League Champions trophy is inherently worth queuing for; the station’s job was to deliver it beautifully, and the framing did exactly that.

Early setup removed friction. Because the station was ready before the first guest arrived, no attendee encountered a half-built experience.

Three windows matched the day’s rhythm. Splitting service into distinct windows aligned the activation with how a golf tournament actually flows.

A framed print suits a charitable audience. Donors and guests received something with permanence - the kind of object that ends up on an office shelf, quietly extending the event’s presence.
